The application process consists of two stages over which you have control – the Application Pack and the Interview. This is where you have to “sell” yourself to schools. I help “market” you.

Schools are looking for individuals with academic excellence, demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills who bring diversity and add to the learning experience of the class. Every bit of the application pack helps schools paint a picture about you.

Applications Forms

I review the application forms and ensure they are correctly filled.

Essays

I review and edit your essays. I don't write your essays for you. From my experience, I tend to make candidates re-write their essays several times over. I don't do it because I want to but because most of the time candidates tend to get very self absorbed, think along one track and fail to see what they really are communicating to schools; they tend to get tired of putting in an effort and simply resort to copy pasting essays of one school for another hoping to submit their applications as soon as possible. They tend to lose out on quality and are probably not doing justice to themselves. Hence, I edit and review essays till they truly bring out the best of you.

Resume

I review and edit your resume to bring out the best of your achievements. I also ensure that your essays and resume “match”.

Recommendation Letters

A personalised recommendation letter from your employers is always preferred to standard recommendation letters that some employers offer. Often, employers may ask you to draft one. Should this be the case, then I help draft your recommendation letters which your employers may simply review, edit and sign.

Transcripts, Financial Certification and Test Scores

Mostly, I leave the process of getting Transcripts, Financial Certification and Test Scores to you but I do advise you how to go about it. I don't conduct GMAT, TOEFL or IELTS classes but should you require any of these, then I would advise you where to go.

Interview Preparation

Successful applications are invited for an interview usually to be conducted by school staff and an alumnus either in person or over the telephone. I help you with your interview preparation by providing you lists of questions to prepare for, reviewing your answers, conducting mock interviews, reviewing your responses and giving you feedback. Some individuals need lots of practice and some don't. Irrespective how long it takes, I make sure you get enough practice till you feel ready.

Visa Documents

A visa application tends to involve a fair amount of paperwork. While no one can guarantee a visa, as long as one's documents are in order, getting a visa shouldn't be a problem. Before you apply for a visa, I ensure that your documents are in order.
